Dear Friends of Skywalk,

The 13th Annual Skywalk, in which we remember the highest ranking whistleblower of the Iraq War, Colonel Ted Westhusing (1960-2005) is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2022. We will commence the 22-mile trek across the Sandia Crest Trail from Tijeras to Placitas at 6:30am, as in previous years.

Last year Chuck Hosking joined me on the walk. I wrote an article for National Ski Patrol about Chuck and his long-term involvement with Skywalk. Please check out the link below.

I remain committed to reestablishing contact with my youngest son, who has been slipping through the cracks of a biased, broken and dysfunctional system for five years and counting. (One day I will publish my own version of “Five Years to Freedom” lol.)

Thankfully, I am supported in my struggles by a wonderful partner, a nurse for nearly 20 years, whose parents were both nurses in Vietnam, and my good friend, Jason Marks, who is doing everything he can to help. ❤️❤️❤️

We are riding this wave together, hand in hand; I could not be more grateful for her love and support through these hazardous seas, as I continue to bear the unbearable, and endure the unendurable. 

May love triumph over hate in the struggles taking place around the world, and right here at home.
